pre-order question?

Post by Tinkerhell »

ok, so I picked up the $10 pre-order deal from best buy the other day before I really checked the whole thing out.
I mean, its for NWN2 which means Das2 so I bought it.

Now that I look at it though, is that just for advance access to the toolset & that special merchant for the solo game or do we get any sort of guarenteed "you get a copy on the first day" or whatever when the game is released?

Anyone know?

When you pre-order it means that one copy of the game they will get from the publisher will be set aside for you, so yes. It should be there when you go pick it up.

I'm still waiting to see if I'll get an email or something from Best Buy for my toolkit DL. *sigh*

Phone them every 5 minutes until they do something, otherwise you will be waiting a very long time.

Even if I ordered online?

And I was afraid someone would say that.

if you ordered online from one of them, then you should have been emailed your code last Thursday. Spam their inbox, and then call them every 5 minutes until you get it.

I, um, Heard you could find the toolset on other locations on the web that don't require your code.

A lot of companies put things out for free. Most of them actually! They hide it really well so that you'll look hard enough for it to earn the discount!

That's one way, but I usualy go up to an owner of said car, battle him and take his car as my rightfully earned price. Also, if you're lucky, you can pickpocket a ferrari from the "Rich Snob Kids (lvl 5-10)" around Beverly Hills. Beware though, they have the "exessive whining and crying" feat which draws the hate of all the NPC's nearby and has a 1/10 chance of driving you mad.

Oh crap, Sirens!
