My thanks to everyone who participated in this little thread. I had planned to unveil the entire poem through it, but alas, things do not always turn out as planned (and good for that, too!)
I did want to give credit where credit is due: the poem was not authored by myself, and is indeed the work of Cirran Silverwind. It remains one of many favourite pieces from Dasarian Lore.
