Helpful NWN2 tips

To Barter:

Hold down right mouse button on player or player portrait. Select Barter from menu and wait for barter screen. (barter screen can be delayed by lag or interupted by another players barter)

If you hold shift a single right click on another player will work. (dont ask why or you will lose your mind it is not logical)

Also i noticed that holding shift and scrolling your mousewheel will cycle through your toolbars.

I wonder if OE even played NWN sometimes b4 they made NWN2.

EDIT: To drop gold i use a text emote like *puts down 1000 crowns for some sweet lovin* then i barter with the person and transfer gold OOC. They in turn use a text emote such as *takes gold and delivers sweet lovin*

Yes, there is

. Press "esc" and enter game configurations --> controls (if i am not mistaken). You will find some options with a checkbox: "show vertical toolbar 1", "show vertical toolbar 2". Check them and they will be displayed.

Sorry about the not-so-accurate info but i am working right now and there is no NWN2 in this machine (sad).

Whats even better is these tool bars can be moved around the screen just like the circular map can. Just left click/hold/drag. These quick slots are great for classes that don't use a lot of their tool bar slots. I load mine up with the emotes so they are just a click away.

Tuning your game:

I use the following tweaks and there was interest expressed in consolidateing them into one place:

Nointro fix- open NWN.ini with notepad (nwn2 game directory, not my docs) under display options add the line: Disable Intro Movies=1 then save the file. (This file is also in my docs, i would change the one in the game directory though)
