I had the amazing opportunity to be one of a mere one hundred lucky (imo) people to see Collective Soul and James Blunt in a private show. Though it was set outside on the patio of a small restaurant under the 101f/33.38c degree sun, it was PERFECT!.

I had never heard of Collective Soul (I used to only listen to country) but I have been a James Blunt fan since Sweet Arilyn introduced me to him over three years ago. He has taught me that there is a LOT of grand music out there, no matter it’s genre.

If you’ve only heard “Your Beautiful” or “High” (how could you not, the radio stations killed them by overplaying them) you should give him a new listen. Hey! A new album will be out next month!!!

I'm very interested in hearing James Blunt's new album. "1973" is a nice preview of what's to come. Hey, it's about time he got up and did something new!
