Not in the US, you just don't bother paying Tax on imported bananas, get free use of a jetplane called Banana 1 and play all day on monkey island formerly known as the White House

Re: Still something in the water!
Hey Dasaria! Update!
I've finally gotten my head out of the toilet and rejoined the ranks of the living. Week 14 brings the end of the morning—well all day—sickness and the baby keep growing. Thank god the 3 months of throwing up are over.
I was thinking the other day of all the super fun times I've had in Das and I was wondering how things have been going here. Now that I can look at a game screen (or anything for that matter) without barfing I was thinking of venturing back here. I miss RP and all the wonderful things about Dasaria. Nothing like the pregnancy hormones to bring on long periods of reminiscing (well that and long, slow work days).
I just have one question. Do I need the expansion to play Das now? (I haven't had a chance to keep up with the forums in the last 2 months or so). I've had the itch to bring Maeve back, or maybe even Leyland (If I can re-learn how to fight again, haha)
I hope all of you are well!

No, you don't need the expansion to play.
We're currently un-expansion-less.
