Vissen Tavern
Cide sat in a corner of the Vissen Tavern, nursing a water that he had managed to get from the barkeeper. He had doused the candle on the table, so he sat in darkness. His hood hung low over his face, hiding his features. His pitch black cloak spun around him, hiding him further from view. Only a slight amount of pale skin showed where his hand held his glass. The small halfling smelled faintly of a forest, and it was easy to tell he didn't spend much time in the city. His clothes looked worn and ragged, as if from a long travel, and if one could see his face they would see a battle-hardened halfling, whom looked no older then 30.
Cide scanned the room, stopping briefly on the beautiful Gia, the part Celestial. Her beautiful skin and eyes would leave men staring for hours, but it was a different reason that his eyes lingered in hunger on her flesh. His hand fondled his short sword’s hilt, its blood red orb reminding him of the animals he hunts. His eyes travelled on, scanning the room seeing the Kalem Agent and the Exodonian mercenary, he spotted the dock workers and the poet. He had listened to the man’s poem, the man something Stargazer, and had been sick. The man probably spoke of some bovine or horse, and he spoke as if he was in love with such creatures. Cide shook his head to clear his thoughts, and lifted his drink to his mouth.
The drink was slightly salty, and contained a metallic taste from rust. It smelled slightly of the area it came from, the docks and sea. He gulped it down in a single mouthful and stood; his cloak rustling. A few eyes watched as the shadow moved across the room, towards the Half-orc barkeeper.
As he approached he spoke in a tone that would not seem diplomatic, the volume only as loud as would allow the barkeeper to hear him. He said simple that he requested a room. When the Half-orc stuttered out a response Cide continued.
“Stupid grunt, be quick about it, I haven’t all day, nor at this rate all night. I will receive from you a room which could hold 5 your size, or 10 a man’s. I require it in a short time, so make haste thrall.”
This only confused the Half-orc more, and he stared dumbly at Cide for a moment before asking what he wanted. Cide was sure he would banter with this stupid fellow for many hours if he didn’t get his point across. Of course Sygo, the more diplomatic one, was always late, leaving Cide to do all the work. Cide sighed and hoped Sygo, Drorry, Kez or Rorry or one of the others would show up soon to get this imbecile to give them a room.

As Sygo entered the Vissen Tavern, he threw a quick glance through the room, his eyes finding rest on Gia. After a moment of just staring at her, he shaked his head and blinked, and then continued his way to the Bar. His face brightened as he spotted Cide.
"Hello Cide, you got everything organised already? Great! As you might have noticed, I'm a bit late, but I just -had- to play on. I was on a winning spree. Look!"
Sygo threw a bag filled with coins on the bar, right next to the Orc.
"This should do for the room and a few drinks right? So, where is our room Cide?"

Re: Vissen Tavern
The Inn door opens slowly as if being pushed by a child, in walks Kez angrily shouting at the top of his quiet de and twisted voice “You stupid tallie, I am no child, keep that thing away from me” The child catcher points his crook away from Kez and says “It’s not my fault your even small for a ling” then can be heard laughing hysterically by all in the Inn as he turns and walks off Kez shakes his little fist at the child catcher “Why you insolent fool if I was strong and could fight I’d punch you in your knees”
Kez straightens out his robe looks at the Inn door leaves it open saying “pfft huge door takes to much effort” Looks around the Inn glancing at each of the patrons then walks toward Sygo and Cide his domineer getting more relaxed as he greets them.
“Hello Sygo and Cide” Turns to the Innkeeper “Hey you big oaf get me a drink of water quick and he is paying for it” points at Sygo then sits on a stool turns to Sygo and Cide “that Innkeeper is more ridiculous than a tallie what is it? Have you arranged the room and had it prepared? I am completely exhausted infact I think it’s fair to say I’m just as exhausted as when we last took a break on our Journey from Lendose, I am sure my sister will arrive soon just expect her to be late as usual last I saw she was talking with a Tallie, have you seen the others? Kez crosses his arms putting them on the bar yawns then rests his head on his arms.

Re: Vissen Tavern
"Well met Sygo" Cide replied as the halfling greeted him. He looked upon the stupid Half-orc in distaste, as the Innkeeper still stood there in a daze. The sound of the money pouch cause Cide to eye Sygo in suspicion of how he managed to gather those funds. He looked again in distaste at the stupid half-orc and started to respond to Sygo's question. "Well Sygo, your..." but he was interrupted by a noise from the doorway.
His friend Kez was entering, making a rucuss as he always did, Cide always wondered how he didn't get himself killed. Cide prefered to stick to the shadows, less people noticed you that way. As Kez finished his noisy entrance and made his way over to them, Cide glared around the room, daring someone to make a joke about their size, and daring them to notice that there were halflings in the tavern. He raised his hand in greeting and again addressed Sygo. Again he started with "Well Sygo, your..." but was interrupted again Kez who spoke to the barkeeper and asked pratically the same question as Sygo. Cide again started to say what he was trying to say, in reprimdation of Sygo, and now Kez.
"Well if you two would have come early then this half-orc fool may have listened, so far I am still attempting to get a room from him, but he doesn't understand the concept" Cide glared angrily at the two halflings, and the back of the Half-orc who was shuffling away to get a rust filled glass of water. "At least Sygo brought some money, although this oaf probably doesn't understand the meaning of money, what did you bring Kez? Other then the eyes of the whole tavern of course." Cide waved his hand to ignore the question as he continued, "Anyways, I figure that...", he was interrupted as the half-orc brought Kez his drink. He then handed a key to Cide, saying "Da room be upder, may me call you friend?" Cide responded by snatching the key from the half-orcs hand and replying "No you half-orc thrall of a bugbear, you wouldn't be able to call the floor your friend with the lack of brains you hold, now take this gold and give ti to your master, if you remeber who he is". Cide then turned on his heal and marched upstairs, he went into his room and set it up in a matter of moments.

Sygo sent a bewildered look after the quickly leaving Cide, then shrugged and turned around to Kez.
"Hello Kez, got any idea what's up with Cide? He seemd a bit upset. Well, at least he managed to get us a room."
Sygo looked around the Tavern, and then turned to Kez again, lowering his voice.
"Say Kez, I was thinking about my promised servant. I know that I should "hire" him myself, but would it be possible if it got "hired" like ... fifteen years ago? And not by me even? All assuming he's still in a good enough shape to make it through the ritual."
Sygo catched breath and sent another look through the tavern, checking for potential ears to catch parts of their conversation. Then seemed to decide noone was able to listen to them and talked on before Kez could answer his questions.
"You probably know who I'm talking about, don't you? So what do you say? Shall I try to capture him? Do I have to consider anything specail while capturing him? Apart from not beeing seen or heard?"
A broad and satisfied smile appeared on Sygo's lips while he was awaiting Kez' answers.

Sygo's listless gaze wandered to the door of the Inn - It was obvious his thoughts were elsewhere. His hand reached for a non-existing mug. He blinked and turned to Kez again.
" I have no idea where Drorry and Rory are. But they should show up, pretty sure. Why don't I have an ale, anyways?"
Said Sygo, quickly turning around to the H'orc.
"I already paid you, now get me that drink, will you?"
Looking to the ground, Sygo started muttering in the natural tongue of the Halflings
"Damned be the human bureaucracy ... stupid documents."

Re: Vissen Tavern
A whisper of sound fluttered about the tavern, lost in the hustle an bustle of the inn patrons. A shadow moved, caught in the corner of the eye but only the few of the most alert people would catch it. The shadow snuck quietly and stealthly accross the roof beams, hidden in the darkness. As it neared its pray it looked down with its many eyes. It eyed its pray and then set to work on its motion.
The giant spider threw down two sets of web that stuck to the two halflings, and it pulled them up to the beams. It pulled htem up in a fraction of an instant and the bartender turned around with the drink, but didn't find the halflings. The spider was Nightshade, Cide's pet spider, it clicked its teeth to the two halfligns, and drew on the beam a halfling, as if asking to know where Cide was. Then it clicked its legs together and drew on the banister a steak, as if asking for some food.

Irettep looks down at the now two empty seats. He scratches his head in confusion wondering what has happened to the two little peoples. "Dat odd." He shrugs, picks up both the empty glass and the full glass and walks back behind the bar.

As Sygo carefully peeled himself out of the gluey web, he blinked, spotted the spider, and let out a deep sigh. Turning towards Kez, he muttered:
"See, that's why I don't like animals. They do stupid things."
After cleaning his clothes from the clammy web-fragments, Sygo looked over to the spider.
"Cide's somewhere up in our room, no idea where that is, but you better get there quickly!"
He glanced at the spider and then jumped down to where they sat before.
Rubbing his ankle, Sygo rose with a painful expression on his face.
"You can leave that ale here, I'm back."

Kez frowns and grumbles "silly animal, your master is upstairs" after the spider lets him back down the the bar stool he mutters some words and with a small firey flash the web is gone from his garments, he twirls the rest of it round on a dagger and drops it on the floor in a bundle.
Picks up his mug of ale and nods to Sygo "agreed they do misbehave" Takes a sip of his ale glares at the spider then looks at the door before turning to Sygo again "Whats worse in your opinion animals or average tallies?" Seeing the Horc's back turned he looks at Sygo pointing to some nuts in a bowl on the bar "you think those are safe?"

Re: Vissen Tavern
Disoriented, he gazed at his foggy surroundings, yet couldn't make up light from dark. Who was he again? What had he wanted to do? All a fog, all a reverberating drumming mocking him, tricking him; he felt so close to it at times yet then it escaped between his trembling fingers and he found himself losing it again. Ah. That sound was his heart. He was alive. At least that he knew. A whistling sound at each wheeze also let him know of his broken nose.
He tried to gather his thoughts again. A name, at least a name he must have. But he found himself not knowing any. He knew what was a name but he didn't know any? How odd, he thought. Then he was to have no name, he decided. Nameless he was born, he felt, and nameless he would stay, he claimed.
Shadows and light gain colour. He distinguishes a silhouette, a child cleaning her dirty toy on his even dirtier rags. These rags soaked in dirty water, in urine likely his own. He feels his heart twisting in pain. This innocent child, this adorable young girl has use of him? Of this man who himself didn't knew, who no name, who nameless he opt to stay? He who was lost in a world of crazied twisting forms had aided another, had been useful even if he couldn't help himself! What mercy, what a loving heart to give reason to one so useless, he thought.
The nameless one mutters:
Thank you, thank you... angel.
And then darkness takes over him and he finds rest.
The halfling turned to the unconscious nameless man and clasped her hands together in a prayer. On her back hanged a blood moist club, in the other the pouch she had just gotten back.
- - - -
The Vissen Tavern's door suddenly halts its shriek, someone timely having held it before closing. Yet neither loyal customer after a hard-day of work neither adventurer entered as expected. And then a halfling shyly peeked into the inn. As she scanned the room in search of kin, her gaze landed on a red cloaked woman for a moment.
She quickly walked away as the neophyte returns to the door. With one last glance at her back, she then turned around, adjusted her headband, raised her little chin and searched the room again.
