This one has a poem that goes with it... some of the letters can be seen at the top of the photo, and it is evident that the paper was lined...

Fire

Tendrils blue within the fire
Licking at the woodstove's glass
Heats the room without a wire
Lets out a dark, smokey gas
Coming from the brick-framed chimney
Upon the oldest home;
Memories aren't built in a day
And neither was old Rome.

A cigarette dipped in the river
Creates the brightest light;
Within the blue it doth deliver
Secrets of day and night.
The sun and moon it hath resembled
But it wasn't as it seemed;
For the light under which we have trembled
IS the blue flame we've just dreamed.

And by the river looms a tower
Built of wood and seed
The leaves that it used to shower
Have drained a blood to bleed
from the arm that holds the fire
Cycling through the sky;
The smoker we've known is a liar...
I ask my woodstove, "why?"

I have a strong disliking for stuck-up art students.

Perhaps you could try to be constructive, instead of upping your nose, talking down on people's efforts. Or get a bloody job and wake up and smell the coffee; because you're -not- the only one in this world who can draw. And I have yet to see any of your drawings, but your attitude already is enough for me to say; keep them. For you 10 other students I reckon.

And, perhaps, since your art already is perfect you should try focusing on your English spelling.

Bloody students.

P.S: Your avatar and signature are crap. Have you ever considered using Photoshop instead of paint?

Okay okay, I'm gonna leave you alone, but this just strikes a cord I neeeeeed to do something with, I'm sorry in advance.

It makes me want to say; lolwut?!

They don't teach you how to spell properly until you hit your 20's down there in Oz? Since when? How? WHY?! Lol. That's a rubbish excuse m'dear. This is your native language. Shame on you, heheh.

Anyways, nevermind though. Blimey, that made my morning. 8)

Going to lay my opinions aside here and say we're all starting to get a little out of line. Let's tone it down a bit--I don't want my drawings thread to end up getting locked.

I accept your apology, Shea, and apologize myself for not reacting well to your comment.

Grey, try again. They should work now.

Some Dasaria-inspired abstracts made in photoshop (yes, I did get lazy and just hit "CTRL+I" for the second one, have a problem with that? :-)):
