What little thing would I like to see fixed? Well, personally, I don't want to see it, but...

Allright here's some minor bugs but ones i've seen around for a while...

First up is the Missing section of wall in North cear.. Basically the archway is missing a part and is transparent.
Image

next is in the laundy place before the kaleem, the floor tiles are off.. its easily solved just enter the X/Y co-ords by hand.
Image

Next is the library in the tower, same problem as before and same solution just enter the numbers by hand.
Image

On the second fllor with the runes on the ground they have a habit of clipping through the ground easy way to solve this is to edit the Z value to something like +0.001 or more up to about 0.005 ish should work.
Image

Also theirs a similar problem with certain traps that their not disarmable as their effectivly "under" the floor/rune decals.

Finally Thralls gate has some rather seriously obvious texture problems. Nothing to hard to fix just needs to fix the roads leading in and out so theirs not bloody great lines of texture cutting off.

The writ quest by the guard in the mistyvale in:

He is talking on behalf of the governor. But The Governor Nathan Verkethed is dead. Long live our feline ruler! :)

FIXED - REMOVED REFERENCES TO VERKETHED AS GOVERNER AND MADE GOVERNOR GENDER NEUTRAL IN ALL CONVERSATIONS.

Just noticed this, I don't know how I missed it since i've read it a dozen times. On the quest to get Finn Ogden out of the jail, for guardsman in the gaol, when you talk to Alier Ogden about it there are two typos. His words are;

Marduk's kness! What has the boy gotten himself into this time? (Well the first part is right, not sure about the second part, but thats not the part that mattered)

First shouldn't Marduk be Tharon?

And second shouldn't kness be knees?

FIXED - SOME STILL USE THE NAME MARDUK, BUT IT IS SORELY FROWNED UPON AND IT IS OFFICIALLY UNRECOGNIZED BY THE EMPIRE. THE SECOND LINE NOW READS KNEES.

One thing thats been bothering me since I started playing..

The entrance to The Temple of Tharon in Cear. It just seems like such a place of Worship should have its entrance a little more noticable and not look like its in a back ally.

Maybe turn in 90 degress? (I know there is a cliff behind it)

I dont think there are any walk meshs back upp behind it. (It would make sense if the temple were built into the hillside) So you should be able to turn it with not much problems. If so Im sure some minor toolset blasting could be used on the hill in behind?

IT IS AS THARON INTENDED.

Two things I have noticed over the past couple weeks.

First, and I'm sure many have noticed this, but the Docks entrance from the Trades and Commons doesn't have a map symbol.

Secondly there are no(Or maybe one or two) map symbols at Thralls Gate.

For people like me with bad memory its a hassle to try and remeber where the docks are located, and I don't know what the multitude of buildins in Thralls Gate are since I never did much in Thralls Gate, well except sabotage the Temple of Lochwar .

FIXED - MAP NOTES ADDED.

Two armours missing Icons: Image

LOOKS LIKE THIS WAS ALREADY FIXED BY THE TIME I GOT TO IT. IF YOU FIND A NEW ITEM THAT HAS THIS PROBLEM LET US KNOW. ALSO LET US KNOW WHICH EXPANSIONS YOU HAVE INSTALLED.

A carpet in the ministry is messed up in the middle of the place. When you do the ore quest for the smithy you have to talk to him AGAIN to get the quest. I've now run to the strings shop like 4 time thinking I had the quest.

Can you make boar/wolf/bear hides turn ins to the tanning place as well? That would make sense after all considering they are animal skins and maybe stack them to 5?

The beetles in the wayne farm field hit way too hard to be worth such a low amount of xp.

The child-catcher wanders so much that I couldn''t find him last night after 5 minutes of searching the docks. Maybe make his pathing a little bit less erratic.

Loot for low areas most of the time get left behind in my case, since my characters usually don't have the strength to carry 14 scimitars and 23 half-plates. You could probably just remove those all together because I bet most of the time they just get left behind along with all those wolf hides lagging the server. Maybe just make it into 5 gold and poof problem solved. Removing crude weapon racks all together as well as low level armor racks, and vanilla weapon drops. Failer's home is a good example, all the skeletons drop scimitars which get left where they are, I just can't carry them all.

The torch lighting quest is another good example of80% of the loot being left behind due to it being chain mail.

EVERYTHING LISTED HERE IS WORKING AS INTENDED.

When you turn in the child-catcher quest, he says "here's two coins per head, as promised" when he really means "five coins per head"

Just thought I'd mention 10 pounds is fairly standard for all clothing. Most clothing you wear in RL is probably heavier than you think.

Yeah, Medieval clothes tend to be pretty heavy. Common clothes would be made of heavy linen and wool. Richer clothes would have been made of silks and fancy linens and wools and but what they gave up in fabric weight they made up for in bulk.

Medieval clothes may have been heavier, yes, but 10 pounds is quite the overstatement. Many standard iron weapons in Dasaria weight less than that, I'm pretty sure the longsword is among them. The clothes the seamstress sells should not weigh that much.

Also, I had thought that in standard DnD, clothing isn't even supposed to count against your encumbrance. You're not 'carrying' clothes if you're wearing them. If you are carrying clothes, like in a bag, I could see them weighing you down 3-5 lbs, but certainly not 10.

The weight is calculated according to the game engine rules based on the material, etc, it's not something we mess with.

My jeans weigh about 3 pounds, I don't see why 10 pounds a full costume isn't a fair approximation. Anyway, let's not get too realistic here, there's a lot that could be done to make wearing armor more realistic and it's all "mean DM" territory.

I think the concern here is that people who are interested in owning wardrobes of clothes rather than the same outfit day-in day-out are being literally weighed down by the poundage of each outfit. Any mage could easily become encumbered due to 10 lb. clothing, and pretty much become useless during adventuring. =o
