A note is pinned to the doors of the Misty, the Buck, the Two Bridges Inn, and the Ravencrest. The casual reader might infer it is an inspirational piece meant to engender hope, especially given recent events.
The note reads thusly:
Glory to Siril, whose golden horn cries true,
Calling o'er sky, the glorious argent and blue.
His sword pointed forward, upon the sloping land,
The breadth of Canas' mace shatters by his hand.
The blighted lands of Exodan's wrath,
Shan't keep us from this one true path.
Holy Etoth's glory, shall bring victory at last,
The Crown's good heirs bask within his grace!
It is unsigned, and bears no symbols whatsoever.
A Message of Hope
A Message of Hope
"Glory to Siril, whose golden horn cries true,
Calling o'er sky, the glorious argent and blue."
Calling o'er sky, the glorious argent and blue."

Re: A Message of Hope
Underneath the copy of the note pinned to the door of the Mistyvale is yet another, its words written in a dark-reddish ink.
From the wake of bitter shadow,
Comes a light, neither cold, nor shallow.
With glory, it encompasses us all,
undefinable by either word or song.
A strapping sword,
A colored shield,
We hold our own upon this perilous field.
Sound from beyond the din,
A white horn, calling the fire from within.
By our might, by our polished hearts,
We stand together, no soldier apart.
A mighty gauntlet,
A merciful scale,
We bring the light to all without fail.
Unlike the previous note, this one is adorned with a thin blue stroke down the right side of the page, as if an oddly-colored hair stuck to the papyrus...

the little halfling reads the note and shrugs.
walks away mutting under his breath,
