This is my delima, last night I tried creating a cleric. When I went to play it.. it comes up with an error message saying "Invalid Character - Player login refused. Character does not meet ability requirements for feat."
this is what he is..
Race: Human
Class: Cleric
Deity: Lurue
Domain: Earth/War
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Feats: Able Learner, Luck Of Heroes.
attributes
STR: 16
DEX: 12
CON: 12
INT: 12
WIS: 16
CHA: 8
I also added a biography on his background.
any help as to why this is happening, and how I can rectify it would be appreciated.. I look forward to playing on this server as my roleplaying server. Thank You!

It is possible that you've selected a Background Feat from one of the expansions.

We're not a Forgotten Realms World and we don't support Forgotten Realms Deities, so... If you wish to play a Favored Soul or Cleric with War Domain, you must install our deity override first.
After patch 1.23 this will be automatically sent to you, but if you wish to do either of these two things right now, you must UNRAR the above-linked files to your /my docs/nwn2/override folder.
To help you in selecting a deity appropriate for your character concept, an overview of deities in the Varanite (Dasarian) Pantheon can be found HERE.

Hello, i too am suffering from this problem.
I have downloaded the diety override and its working(All the Dasaria deities appear), but the war domain is not able to be chosen, it dosen't even show up.
Human cleric
Chaotic Neutral
Stats : 14,12,10,12,16,14
Diety: Tharon
Am i doing something wrong? any help would be appreciated thanks.
*EDIT* nevrmind lol i figured it out, the NWN2 wiki says war domain was added with mask of the betrayer, im running vanilla NWN2 so thats why i cant take war domain. I just assumed like NWN1 war domain was in the game from the get go
sigh guess i should go and buy the expensions
