An Estate Auction

Two official looking gentlemen approach an abandoned house located at the Docks. One proceeds to tack a piece of paper to the door, the other, dressed more elaborately, begins to ring a large handbell and cries out.

"Listen all, Listen all! By order of the Governor of Cear, all abandoned domicile buildings that have been vacated for 3 months or more are to be confiscated by the Empire and sold by auction."

"The domicile up for auction is located in the Imperial Docks near the establishment known as Vissen's Tavern. It features an ...er... open floor plan."

"The auction will begin immediately and will last exactly 4 days. The bidding amount will start at One Hundred and Fifty Imperial Emperors (150,000 gold pieces). Bids must be placed in writing and submitted to the Imperial Office of Private Lands and Taxes (post your character's full name and bid in this thread). Sufficient funds must be on hand at the Imperial Bank of Varana prior to bidding. All bids found to be invalid will be subject to an administration fee. Once the auction is completed the new owners will be notified and proceedings will begin to transfer ownership."

"All other inquiries in regards to this auction also must be made in writing (PM me) to the Imperial Office of Private Lands and Taxes."
