I don't know about a RL picture of me, but this is where I've been for the last fortnight on business. I would really suggest that those of you who haven't been to a major Asian city - like Kuala Lumpur - should make some time to go, even if it's just a short trip. The food is great, the people are great and there is so much to do (and buy...).

Me playing dress up. This regency re-creation dress is almost authentic to around 1810.

The second picture is of Falcon in his authentic British Navy uniform from around the same time period. My mother made these costumes, and all five of us (Mom, Dad, Falcon, my husband and myself) each have one.

We dressed up like this for Tall Ships 2009 in Halifax and had a grand time! Especially with all the ships. It was like going back in time!

My mother is genius when it comes to costuming! These are pretty close to authentic other than using some modern materials.

This is another one, the Navy costume is the same one my husband is wearing in the other picture, but the dress I'm wearing is a bit before that time period, late 1700's. I was 7 months pregnant at the time, haha. Also made by my mom.

The regency gown in the first picture of me is more in tune with the time period of those navy costumes than this dress.

I am going to have to scare up some old old pictures of me in my armour and Medieval clothes, neither of which I think I can squeeze into any longer.

Ever think about doing re-enactments for a summer job or something like at Shearbrook,The Citidal or Louisburg? Those costumes are definatly good enough. Maybe if I loose some weight I might sign up at one for a summer as an apprentice blacksmith.

The thought has crossed our minds. We're more in it for the fun, though. A lot of us already have jobs, and perhaps one or two would really be in a position to take a job like that.

We'd be more liable to just show up for fun's sake.
