My latest build is a partial rogue build that utilizes traps and lures monsters to it.
I noticed recently after i set traps if i leave the tile the trap is set the trap is removed.
This wasnt the case couple days ago.
I would like to know if this a server side decision to remove a legit skill from the game or a bug.
I heard from a friend it was to stop misuse of traps to kill low lvl players in low lvl areas.
I never set a trap to hurt people or left a trap unattended.
Why ruin peoples builds with such changes .
And i believe it should be perfectly legitimate to use them in a role play conflict.
Traps not working anymore.

No change to the way traps work has been made by the staff. It was probably a bug within the game engine, which we do not control.

Now this is weird.
I solved the dilemma you were right.
No such change has been made.
I recovered a mysterious short sword that had a question mark icon from a trapped door by disable device skill.
Having it in my inventory made all traps i set disappear after i set them.
I am terribly sorry to take your time.
