Lycan Problem..

I was turned into a wolf recently. shortly after that i was given a potion that was supposed to be a cure. it was late after this so i logged out and went to bed.. the next day i logged in it was night time and i was me, not the wolf. i went to town and started picking up the bugbear quests. after picking up the one at ironbacks and upon returning to north cear i was magically a wolf and got jumped by the entire town.. lost 500 exp .. caught me by surprise not sure if that potion was supposed to work or not or if this is a bug. any comments on this would be appreciated my character name is Gorin Gulix, looking forward to your response!

Just to add some more details to the account. It happened last night outside the gates on the hill in North Cear. Gorin was killed by the werewolf and I brought him back to life, when he was "raise dead"ed he came back as a werewolf. He then ran off in good RP fashion and returned once he turned back into a Half Orc or what ever he is. Io then took him to the bank to give him the cure.

Looks like today he is still afflicted.

I messed with this script recently, so it could certainly be bugged, but first are you sure you took the proper cure? You'd be looking for Aconitum Tonic.

Yeah thats the one i took Io gave it to me at the bank he can confirm that if you can get talking to him.

Ive taken the cure again today still with no results.. i dont even have a quest in my journal or anything for the curse.. if anyone could have a look at this it would be great..
