Cythis's group finally realized that they were staying out there welcome within the tower of the Lich and would finally pull back as they took off with many new tomes and magical crafting supplies. The knowledge alone within some of the tomes Hyel, the Loremaster, would pay much a fortune for.
Yes, yes he would indeed.

Dusk, the state or period of partial darkness between day and night, many civilians plan to prepare a descent slumber, some however still walk the night. Cythis enjoying the curse upon him embraced the moonlight. However, he still had an issue. He hadn't see any undead even remotely close to his ruins. Thinking that the minions of Culnul just vanished, however he still saw tracks of them, but not close by to where he lie at night sleeping. Cytheria first noticed it. Normally she would go to her look out points and knock an arrow in a zombies head for practice. None around.
Cythis started figuring out that the sword was causing some disturbance in the flow of negative energy here. Which also meant it would attrack others as to why the undead fear such a place. "Why don't I just build a damn fire and tell everyone in the Empire to come and get me?" Cythis yelled at himself. "I must figure out a way to destroy it, damn thing is causing me more issues then I can contain!"
Hating to admit he was ignorant of such knowledge, he knew of someone else that could aid him. "Myth.." Cythis spoke to himself. Cythis heard rumors that Myth was trying to take up a hole within the caves of the Drakken beast. "This will be a long trek for me. Cythis slide the holy sword out of from his bag of magic and put it in a sheath that fit it snug. Seemed that there was no problem as long he didn't touch the blade. Cythis proved this theory to himself time and again. However with each new time he touched it, it would vibrate even more and the sheath was starting to ware from it.
Cythis needed some supplies from Cear and decided he would venture their first and then catch Myth with in the caves for council.
"No worries little friend. I'll get good ride of you and you'll properly wrot in the ground." Cythis said while smiling. While nearing Thrall's Gate, he heard something behind him. Great, more assassin - friends of Haliquin. But again he couldn't see them. He knew he saw however something in the corner of his eye move out infront of him. "Damn you beast!" Cythis screamed.
Standing seven foot another werecreature decided it would tackle Cythis. Again he tried to rip Cythis to shreds. Cythis prepared for these damn walking infections gutted the creature with silver and saw it writhe in pain. Cythis turned around just intime to get slashed across his helm by an even bigger one. He recognized this one. One eye missing, it seemed more relaxed and fluent with it's form. "Damn you Rhode, however I finally got you!" Cythis arched his blade high up to split him two, but into the unseen he slipped. Cythis knew this wasn't going to be a fight to his advantage. "The curse will end with you Rhode!" Cythis screamed while arching his blade all around, flailing it around. Out of the shadows the wolf creature speared him in his back, Cythis almost loosing himself in shear pain. "Mahhaaaa!" Cythis cried out. Almost unable to move, he knew the thing was following him as he continued to walk towards Cear, he could see the fleetsmen. Cythis dropped some choking powder at his own feet hoping that would keep the beast back a ways to give him time to readjust to the searing pain. He could hear it growing in almost a laughing tone. "Does this one know whom I am?" Cythis came closer to safety. "Myth will have to wait, I need to rest here for now." Cythis thought, while gaining a room for the night at the Misty. "And so to shall this sword."
Come, ye humans and sons of Rian, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Illythiiri
The morning never looked so good to Cythis before. Living one more day and realizing he just encountered the paragon of werewolves, Rhode, and lived gave him something to be thankful for. "Thank the claws of Tiamet!" thought Cythis. As he reached into he magical pouch and pulled potions that Myth previously gave him for healing and to stop the pain. The wound on his back ached and moving around seemed almost unbearable. Cythis downed one of them and could feel his back starting to tighten up and relieve the inflammation. The pain subsided.
"Maybe Myth will get to see me today", thought Cythis. He packed up his things, slowly opening the door up and readying an assault by an asssassin or were creature, but none came. The paranoia of Cythis was growing and this damn sword was only compounding his problem. As well the moment direct sunlight hit the sword, Cythis would undergo a more extreme blinding episode. It would last even longer, but eventually it would fade. Cythis increased his steps while heading towards the caves of Drakken. He wanted to destroy this sword so no knights of Rel could ever again possess it.
While walking down the road, he saw some some unusual tracks. Looked to be boots, elven made, but smaller which told him there were most likely Illythiiri built. Seems the dirt had alot of them all together in different directions. It was not uncommon for dark elves to be hiding along the roads waiting to ambush the unware. Cythis however noticed something else all to familiar to him. Only one such smell brought out a memory, the heavily doused smell of colognes that one dark elf wore, but before the words slipped his mouth Cythis heard "Hey Stormbeard Champion!" Which then followed by giggles.
Cythis wound up his scythe and spun it around to where the faint sound was coming from and flung the scythe in the air and watch as part of a feather was clipped off and fell to the ground. Immediately, Cythis used his innate ability to peer in the realm of invisibility. Almost laughing at such a sight, Cythis fell back trying to prevent from loosing control. "You alright there Morf?" Cythis asked.
Cythis saw Morf in an odd position, almost falling over from a one armed handstand. "Forgive him Cythis!" Morf pointed to his feather and disciplined it like a child. "Don't worry my friend I have more of them, they shall not shame me!" Morf stated without cracking a smile. Cythis couldn't hold back and finally gave way to his laughter. "You are truly unique warlock!" Cythis stood up and offered a hand to get Morf as well back grounded.
"What are you doing Morf?" Cythis questioned.
"Oh just your normal dodging flying scythes out of no where!" Morf replied.
"Reminds me." Cythis said as he walked over and picked up his deadly blade.
"Well Morf, since you aren't doing anything to important besides taking a close look at the insects on the ground, why not find company with me?" Cythis queried. "I seek out Myth within the Drakken hole."
"Sure!" Morf replied, "but let's just not step on any ants. I am a god to them you know!"
Cythis again busted a smile and agreed. "Sure thing Morf.."
Both Cythis and Morf stayed the road to Tristan with no interruptions accept for a few jokes slipping out of Morf's mouth or acid being flung at the wild life. As they approached the caves however things changed. Both of them heard someone screaming in Tel'gothrim "I'll kill ya, I'll kill you all little damn demons!" within the cave. Cythis and Morf looked at each other and said, "Myth", and began to run in.
Come, ye humans and sons of Rian, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Illythiiri
Cythis and Morf ran into the caves, both of their visions transitioned from the blurry sunlight to their natural environment that the caves gave freely too, darkness. Cythis trying best to follow the sound of Myth going into his godly might rage. The Drakken devils were known to be infested in their, yet that did not seem to stop Myth. However, the tunnels were deep and also held a water supply. A perfect home for the Tel'gothrim.
Cythis started following the bodies of the tiny devils mutilated, as it seem to help hone in on the sound of Myth screaming at them. Myth was a priest of the hellish beast Tiamet, and at times fought like her. Cythis was able to see his figure dancing thru these flying demons and stabbing and hacking away at their wings.
"Myth!" Cythis screamed. "You have much house cleaning to do!" Cythis charged in with his scythe read to cleave thru the drakken devils that surrounded Myth. But before Cythis even came close to hitting them, blast of acid spit forth and seemed to hit all of them in chains of great power. Watching them all drop to the ground, Cythis turned around and saw Morf smile and as well he turned around looking for someone. "Stealing the show again!" Cythis said looking back at Morf.
"Myth my great friend...how?" Cythis said while interrupted he heard others within the caves. "We are not alone men!"
Morf turned invisible and lead the dark three deeper within the cave. Myth pulled some potions from his bag and drank them healing up any minor wounds that occured during his slaughter fest with the demons.
The dark elders could tell there were two voices talking to each other and they started getting louder and louder. Morf approached the two being, they both totally unaware of his presence. A halfling mage what looked to be and a short stubby grey dwarf. Cythis finally was able to identify them. Cythis reached down and grabbed a stone, and flung it at the dwarf thick helm. *BAM!!!!*
"Broggi and Jinxis!" Cythis yelled. Morf appeared inbetween them and Jinxis yelped out of the way, "Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!"
"So you guys are down here drakken hunting or are you as well looking for a nice place to build paradise?" Cythis asked.
"We dum lookin' for dat darn Drakkan queen, we dum knows shed be down heres!" Broggi said in his best version of common. "Care to join us?" Jinxis asked.
Cythis got along great with both of them, one because Jinxis was so curious about everyone, yet timid of much. Broggi was a grey dwarf, he didn't like many, but didn't start trouble neither.
"Sure!" agreed the dark elves.
Cythis looked to Myth and said, "however I have other needs from you friend, but it can wait for now."
The group changed their formation, Broggi, Cythis, and Myth up infront, and Jinxis and Morf in the back casting their ungodly magic. They moved their killing weapon thru the thousands of demon bats that tried to defend the hive of the queen. Acid engulfed many as they flew thru the air, however it did not spray upon Morf's teammates it was. Morf had a talent for demon traits and hitting many creatures at once was nothing for him.
Cythis broke away from the group so he could maximize his killing blows and safely extended his scythe out as far as the base of the handle and flailed it thru the air impaling many of the damn flying vermin. Cythis's helm protected him from the sword heavily, but his scythe was getting weighed down with tiny bodies stuck to it. Cythis was out of battle while trying to pry them off. His weapon seamed more like an oddly shaped club, the bodies of the drakken being the blunt object. Myth continued to called up Tiamet to aid him and his followers and his pleas were answered as more divine energy enraged him.
More acid sprayed around them, and Jinxis held his hand aiming at a figure that was moving into the rear of the cave. It looked to be the queen. wispering an ancient tongue, Jinxis's hand drew forth powerful magical force and then energy broke into a multitude of bolts and burn thru to this creature. Broggin, covered in the blood of all of the Drakken body parts charged with his cylindric helm, as sneaking up on the queen with the swarm surrounding her was nearly impossible. Broggin stabbed hard and deep within the wretched creature and it tried to claw and bite him. Green liquid spewed out onto his blades. Morf almost perfectly encircled with a wave of his own acid was constantly blasting them and the more he killed the more seem to be attracked. Myth protected the party from the flames of the demons, as their flames were also part of the reason why it was hard to see.
"Is this fun or what Cythis?" Morf laughed out.
Cythis breaking the last chunk of bodies from the blade, reached up and once again swung his blade in a full arc and felt the warm of their blood spray the area. Jinxis was casting specifically hurting the Queen. The drakken seemed to not be able to break his magic protections so he felt he could cast freely which he was successful in his wager. Broggi as well not only had to face the nasty claws and bite, but also avoiding the rays from Jinxis's well slung hand.
Finally Broggi layed the killing blow into the beast and dropped to the ground, thousands of screems from the little devils went off in unison, almost as they felt the defeat and knew what was left for them as their own fate.
Many of them started to disperse and fly up to higher to the stalactites. Cythis could actually see again. All of them covered in the tiny entrails of the Drakken creatures, felt pure exhaustion and Cythis needed to rest. Cythis licked his lips. "You know.....I know I don't like Drakken!" Cythis spit out was seemed to be blood from the tiny creatures.
The group decided to sit down for a few to catch their breath. There could still be more outside waiting. The rest of the group started to get up. They walked thru the hole out of the hive, but Cythis was still gathering his breathe. "Okay I am coming wait up for me!"
In that moment, Cythis felt a presence like nothing he had ever experienced. His eyes seeing the insaine of the cave walls start to vibrate similiar to the sword he carried in the hilt. "Hey guys....Come back! Come back!" Cythis yelled. The sword start vibrating even more but now this time the blade was heating up, turning bright red like smoldering steel being forged. The sheath started smoking. The cavern he was in was starting to fall apart. He looked up to see a falling stalactite piece the ground right next to him. However he felt nauseous and charged for the opening. As he rolled thru, he saw the rest of his party fighting for their lives. All of them surrounded this creature that Cythis couldn't even fathom. The entity stood over ten feet high, muscular and more tone then an orge, silver skin, a human shaped head with no emotional expression. But lastly, it's wings encased almost the whole area.
When Cythis stood up finally it turned to face him and spoke in such a loud voice that some of the others had to cover their ears.
"Betrayer of Rian, foolish to think you may covet that which does not belong to you!" The being said without blinking it's pupaless eyes. "You will hand over the sword now!"
"Oh no.....it's come for me, this damn sword! No!" Cythis screemed. Raising his scythe up, he tried to strike it. It too raised it's sword and block Cythi's uncoming blows, along with the rest of the groups attacks. This angelic soldier's wing also buffeted and kept Morf and Jinxis busy. Nothing seemed to get thru to this creature. Cythis caught part of it's arm with his blade. Then the divine warrior just merely looked at it's own wound and it healed up. Myth was able to hit the creature, but it pure looking skin was extreme hard to even break. Myth had to drop his shield and plunge the sword deep within it's back with two hands.
"Damn you Rel!" Cythis cried out. The creatures eyes started to flame.
It decided to isolate Cythis from the party by grabbing Broggin and throwing him thru into the rear wall of the cavern. Jinxis lost his moral and headed up the steps, Morf tried to stay and hit it a few more times with his demonic essence, yet it more or less just annoyed the creature merely. Morf turned invisible and strategically retreated up the steps. Myth was still trying to twist his blade in the back of the living horror and it seemed to do almost nothing to slow it down. Myth pulled his blade free. Myth could only watch at the creature deflected all of Cythis's strikes with lightning speed. Morf called for Myth to retreat. Myth slowly stepping back in awe. This was the presence of Rel within the caves of the Drakken. No one would ever believe them.
The creature grabbed Cythis and lifted him high off the ground up to the ceiling of the cave and smashed him into it. Knocking him out. The being released him and Cythis fell. However, he came too seconds later, standing up, only to be hit with the flat of the blade and blasted against the wall. Blood poured out of Cythis's mouth, and his head pounded. One of his eyes swollen shut. Cythis grabbed for his scythe on the ground and was met with a killing blow. Cythis shrieked.
The angel's sword double of a great sword piece his dorsal area and into the dirt behind him. Cythis tried to gasp out an undying curse on the entity. But he knew it was no use. Cythis closed his eyes and died.
The Solar easily pulled his own sword from the empty body of Cythis. Reaching down ripped the sword right from the sheath Cythis used to try and hold it. The divine warrior spoke in an angelic tongue making what seemed to be a prayer and vanished. Hours passed, but finally the group came back in. Fearing the power and might that their nameless enemy held against them. Morf came in, reached his hand into his cloak and set down a very ornate scroll case. "Oh I hope we aren't too late?" Morf mumbled. Morf spoke the Illythiiri tongue from the scrolls Myth supplied them all with that praised their Goddess Tiamet and begged her undying immortal undeserving power to be filled within the empty shell of Cythis. His body was levitating off of the ground and started to slowly spin around. The blood from the dirty started to fly back within him and his punctured frame healed up again. Then his eyes opened up and in horror and he feel to the ground.
'What's wrong, you are just being pulled back...you are fine Brother Cythis." Myth calmly said.
"Tiamet is very, very upset with me!" Cythis spoke in Illythiiri.
"Brother Cythis, we all falter at times, the greatness." Myth started saying, but Cythis interrupted.
"Tell that to the black dragon right behind you Myth!" Damn it we need that sword!
Come, ye humans and sons of Rian, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Illythiiri
Myth rolled to his right, anticipating he made the right decision to avoid certain death as the maw of this beast bursted out at him. "By the talons of tiamet, why does she rage so?" Myth in doubt called for his goddess strength, but he felt it as a distant flow, truely this was a test of their might as his and both Cythis's divine link was in peril.
Morf concentrated and raised his hand in a gripping manner and called forth tentacles to break out of the ground and wrap around the base of the dragon to keep its deadly natural bite upon advancing anyone else. Broggi charged forth and pulled his blades out to help secure it's front claws, he jumped his little dwarven body on it scaled talons and sunk his blades in. "He he he ya black overgrown lizard ye!" Broggi yelled in common tongue. "Now ya taste me blades!"
Myth and Cythis were able to strike the creatures as it was being gripped to the dirt by the tentacles summoned by Morf. Jinxis called forth great magical energy from his hand and it speared the creature with blast opening its scales off. The Dragon fearing its now captors, lunged it's head back and coated the area with acid. Cythis and Myth both tried to protect themselves with their shields and cloak. However the fabric was burning and and they new they had only seconds before their skin would follow. Everyone grabbed their magical potions and swallowed quickly, hoping it was enough to repair the damages done to them.
Broggi was holding on for dear life as it was trying to smash him into the dirt, but this dragon must have never test the strength and undying stubborness of the grey dwarves.

Come, ye humans and sons of Rian, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Illythiiri
The dark figure, hooded now, raised his boot upon a fallen log that blocked his path. Closing his eyes, he raised his scythe, that normally wouldn't sunder such an object but the magic infused within it and his prayers of Tiamet parted his obstacle. "This place seems all to good for a place amongst the forrest," he said. "Time for a new home. I won't end up like Grath!" He placed his weapon down and started gathering kindling, however keeping an ever watchful alert about him. The soldiers of the empire or the slaves of Canas were to him equally his enemies. Once his fire was started and knelt down and started inscribing dark insults and speech in the Tel'gothrim tongue and surrounded himself with them. Prayers to Tiamet infused them. "I will build the sons and daughters of Rian an empire to bow down too, but it won't be the humans!"
Come, ye humans and sons of Rian, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Illythiiri
