My first post really, I play a half-orc named Nrungg who some may have encountered...

My experience with Dasaria so far has been extremely good. Yes I've encountered a few griefers, or people that may need to brush up on how to immerse themselves better in character but otherwise I am very happy with what I've accompished and done. Those who I have befriended IC and partied with have made my experience far more enjoyable than simply grinding off quest after quest and I'd like to thank them for it.

As far as the those who lack the "skeelz" to roleplay. Well the server is still fresh and young, and once NWN2 gets a few more patches, a few more persistent worlds, and a few other games released outside of NWN to attract the WoWers away things will get better. It was the same with NWN1 when it was first released.

Welcome to Dasaria, Nrungg. You should post something in the 'Hello' section so you can be properly welcomed.

You already seem like one of the old-timers to me.

Man more half-orcs... I swear I see more half-orcs then anything else.. Guess it's time to pull out the old ethnic cleansing section of Imperial Code and begin the work of purification..

J/k Welcome aboard...

(Nothing meant against you personally just Galrith Isel in game is a Lawful Evil Cleric of Lochwar with Diplomacy and Lore to simulate knowledge Imperial law. He's a purist to an extent and views Humans and Elves as the only 2 true races with halflings and dwarfs as exceptable sub-races. All others just taint the purity that is the realms.)

Oh I'm no old-timer by far. Ask me anything about Dasarian Lore and I'll freeze up faster than a lonely bridesmaid about to catch a bouquet. Been trying to learn/read it all but it's alot to take in so fast.

Well, you fake it well, which is another talent intrinsic to role-playing...keeping it vague enough to make it plausible until you know the facts.

Well that was a fun read :D

I'd admit I'm not a huge fan of Drow.. but i'm even less of a fan of making someone else's life a misery because they don't conform to what I/we/you want.. there was a great bit of fun with Drow on the village last night - can't remember anyone there.. but I was playing a 'ling (first for me! :D) called Sniveler.. anyway there was a bit of disagreement over casting of spells etc.. involving a Drow.. but it was all Rp'd.. that's the way it should be..

'twas fun indeed. Wasn't just a disagreement, but a law violation ;)
Nevertheless OOC kudos to participants and IC hates for that Drow ^^

I'm sensing a very tense ethnic situation brewing between drow and halflings. Just yesterday Ludovic and my character Victor dealt with a drow trying to kill a halfling thief. Talk about a dilemma.

There was a drow (maybe a dark moon elf, i cant tell the difference sometimes, thanks gamma) talking his way out of killing the druid in N. Cear last night. He was claiming self defence, yadda yadda to the group of pretend watchmen wanting to arrest him in the middle of town. I had been listening for a while, and they were about to let him out of it. I casually interevene with the story of bad Thyver and the hit contract I so glibly refused becuase frankly, it just wasnt enough money...I did however see the other drow talking to him momentarily after (which of course i just made up). *gasp* what's a bored drow to do. Why I just *had* to speak up in the poor, poor druid's defense. He was still weaseling out of it so I quietly went and killed the druid and presented her thumb (finger, whatever it is she drops) as "evidence" I garnered after *bumping* into the drow again later. I only did this because the drow was playing it really really nice with everyone, including me. Made Zahn sick to his stomach it did =P

I think i might be an honorary watchman now too =D hahah
