+3 sword of cursed berserking?
Anyone else remember that "Turn Minsc into a killing machine and stay way back over there" toy ?:)
Made them mind immune also..
VERY handy for taking out those pesky nymphs...

Actually now i think about it, thats a perfect weapon for say.. a barbarian or a frenzied berserker type...

I advise against a weapon for spellcasters that requires the Exotic Weapons Proficiency feat.

I think a regular old staff or dagger with those properties would be fine, since mages shouldn't need to have to take feats for weapons that they'll be bad at using.

Great suggestions all. :) enjoying them trying to play to some of the lower stuff for the moment but items that have a lot of history I may actually make a bit more powerful.

To be honest I'll be making them of all levels. It's good practice for me since in a couple months have a project for school that involves creating a working game :)

What about an eldritch "samurai" type? :)

If I recall, Jehannum said to make them either +1 or +2 only at this time without any other attributes.

Once again, I like it.

You see, they said items that tie into Dasarian history and old characters. When it comes to staves there were more than enough floating about, and no mages actually carried a dagger. However, there was at least one noteable sorcerer who used a Katana, and many mages who used longswords.

As to bad at using? Perhaps, but then again, having said Katana saved said sorcerer's *** many more times than having a staff or dagger would have.

Something like this?

Envenomed Dagger +2
This dagger, rumored to have been a copy of another carried by a guardian of the Pale Moon Isles, has resurfaced many times over the years. It transfers owners rather quickly, likely because of its unique properties. These daggers have been a favorite of many, especially assassins, due to their quick and lethal nature.
-Poisoned blade, gives 1d4 Strength damage (I'm trying to remember what the actual dagger did)

(My sorceress carried this dagger forever once she got a hold of it.. let me try to think of the other Anshar weapons.. hm..)

Crimson Blade +2
This weapon carries a small seal etched into the fine blade, which tells of its former use as a cerimonial weapon to the god Coloth. The crimson sheen of the blade makes it easier for its user to see, and the deadly edge, useful for executions.
-1d4 Constitution damage upon hit
-Red Light glow (15m?)

...then we have the entire koalisk line which I'm sure quite a few of us could recall. I do have to ask the DM's if koalisks are returning (though I'm sure that's a future, to be decided thing).. loved those lizards.

Dame Edana Genvaldi - Knight of Argentum Vigilo
Brion Genvaldi - "Obtainer" of Lost Items
Amarenth Dormagic - A Trickster

What Pere coming up with something grossly overpowered?

Perish the thought
I'm always right. I'm also a jerk. It's not my fault you can't get over the latter to see the former.
