NaB: Some quests stay on Server crash

Post by Angelsguy »

I don't know if this is a bug or not but there are two quests that seem to have persistant status in my journal. They are "A simple delivery" and "Supplies for the temple". Just wanted to post it for info.

Yeah, I believe the DM's are trying to make quests persitent now. That's a good thing.

Yep, we are experimenting with this type of thing now and seeing how it plays out before moving forward with it.

The more capable you or your team are, the more quests you can do.

Ingenious. I love it.

The only problem right now would be lack of content and once you accomplish all the possible quests, there will only be wolves to do to gain experience.

Even though the quests are repetitive, the xp you get from them feeds the addiction of the grind :)

How to make them persistant and yet still repeatable is one of the big issues left to work out. Not sure how a good way to handle it, but I'm turning over some vague ideas. Once we have the official database support, they can probably "respawn" every couple of meat-space hours, and most of the problems will go away.
