Couple of classic lines from Blackadder (don't know if you got this outside the UK but it was a great comedy sitcom type of thing)
Hag: "Two things you must know about the wise woman. First...she is a woman. Second...she is..."
Blackadder: "Wise?"
Hag: "Oh! You know her then?"
Blackadder: "No, just a wild stab in the dark, which is what you'll be getting in a minute if you don't become more helpful."
Baldrick: I have a plan so cunning, you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel."

"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age."

~somebody from Dasaria I, I think it was either Mel' or Meld'. Not sure, though. The rightful owner may take thine credit, and he who is not might steal it.

'Lo, there do I see my father,
'Lo, there do I see my mother, and my sisters, and my brothers.
'Lo, there do I see the line of my people, back to the beginning.
'Lo, they do call to me,
They bid me take my place among them,
In the Halls of Valhalla,
Where the brave, may live,
Forever.
