"Yer from where?" The drunken patron slurred.
"I didn't say," his female companion declared, looking at the slovenly man next to her with a curling of her upper lip. He smelled as if he bathed in ale, and hadn't bathed for weeks, perhaps longer.
The drunk took another drink.
"Ya know its dangerous abouts these days."
The female closed her eyes, mentally counting to ten.
"Ya could get hurt."
Blue eyes flared open, glaring to the right.
"Are you saying that merely because I'm female, or because you are an egotistical bigoted bastard like most men in this world who can't see beyond the beauty of the fairer sex," she purred.
He didn't seem to understand the warning tone in her voice. "Well, yer a girl!" She personally thought that was rather obvious.
"No kidding?" She chuckled lightly under her breath.
The barkeep appeared to be watching the conversation closely if his hoovering nearby was any indication. He had cleaned that same glass at least four times, his gaze lingering on the only female in the bar, staring at her sapphire blue eyes and light blond hair.
"Yeah," the drunk said, not noting her sarcasm. "Ya know, someone like me could take goooood care o' ya."
The female smiled. The barkeep immediately looked away, as if the smile was frightening to him, or he suddenly decided it would be best to mind his own business.
"Could you?" She asked. "Could you take care of little me, as I wandered the road at night, avoiding bandits and other ... foul .. creatures?"
The drunk leered at her, looking quite noticably down the front of her tunic. "Oh yeah."
She leaned close, her breath kissing his skin. "Sorry, but I think I'm better on my own, don't you?"
He gulped as he felt the sharp blade of a dagger poking below his waist.
"Yes ma'am," he yelped. "Who are ya anyway?" He called as an afterthought as she started to walk away.
Turning slightly, the blond stared coldly at him. "My family name is Chatwin. Celintra Chatwin."
"Ya've had enough," the barkeep declared to the drunk. "Stop hittin' on my patrons and drivin' them away."
Celintra was at the door when she heard the drunken man declare, "I had my money pouch a moment ago--where'd it go?!"
"Ya lazy lout, I'll teach ya to steal drinks from me!" The barkeep yelled.
Celintra exited the tavern, a wide smile on her face. The moment she was out the door, she pulled out a small pouch, jiggling with gold.

True. I left it open because I haven't decided what type of rogue I'm making yet. Arcane Trickster, regular full rogue or Shadowdancer, or even Shadow Thief. I need to decide soon though, huh?

Celindra Chatwin, The Treasure Hunter... Part Two
The barkeep's screaming mixed with loud rumbling and thudding sounds crept out the tavern doors. Celindra waited, hearing at least four loud thumps, and two prepared spells. When flames spurted out the door, she darted out of the way just in time, seeing an opportune time to exit far away from this particular location.
A part of her felt badly for leaving the drunkard hanging out to dry, but she also followed the same man for the past three days. He was a bandit, through and through, drinking when he wasn't working, working when he wasn't drinking. He slaughtered two entire families--at least from the rumors wandering around town.
Quickly, her feet took her to the docks, the journey not as long as she thought it was originally. Standing on a small skiff an elegant looking robed figure lifted its head, and slowly removed the hood to reveal bright red eyes and white hair. She forced her eyes to not narrow and her lips not to curl at the very sight of the 'man'.
"Do you have the money?" The stranger rasped.
"Here," Celintra tossed the gold at the man's feet. She removed four more bags of gold and dropped those as well.
The stranger smiled. "Very good, Lady Chatwin."
"MISTRESS Chatwin," Celintra corrected angrily. "You and I both know, I'm no lady."
He extracted a medium-sized wrapped package and handed it to her. He held it fast when she attempted to grab hold. "You know the rules. You cannot use it for personal gain, or else you will be subject to the curse."
"Just give it to me," She glared at him.
He released his hold and she quickly took hold, placing the package in her cloak. She walked away from the boat as quickly as she could. Once she got out of sight from the skiff she broke into a fast-paced run, heading towards two light blue tents on the side of the hill. She ran inside.
"Madam, you have returned to us, do you need healing?" A cleric asked.
"No, I came to bring you this," Celintra replied.
She removed the package from her cloak and placed it on the table between them. A few more clerics approached, watching as their leader unwrapped the packaging to reveal a dark colored blue stone with a rune in the middle.
"You have found it!" The cleric exclaimed, looking stunned. "Now we can truly heal those afflicted with the plague."
Clerics surrounded the stone, giving Celindra the opportunity to slip out of the tent. She walked a few feet to the village gate and exited. On the other side, she peered up at a set of signs. One indicated 'Cear, This'a'way, Eastward.'
She headed east.

OOC: Hoped that helped to convey her a bit better in TN style. The 'treasure' is of course made up from my imagination.. as is the town. This isn't based on either Dasar or Daris.
