The Spawnpoint GUI
On the update today--
- Restarted Game after shutdown
- Logged in. Player spawnpoint GUI did not automatically appear
- Opened Spawnpoint GUI, new and shiny yay
- Have North of Cear and the Vissen tavern available for selection
- Morell, Ravenswatch, the Buck Inn, Lendose, and Two Bridges are missing
Should also mention I had the setting for the GUI to appear at login (1) and that it previously would automatically take me to Ravenscrest Inn on login (2).

Re: The Spawnpoint GUI
The recent patch seems to have removed many of my spawn points. The GUI interface only shows two spawns: the Mistyvale and Vissen as Sahji has noted, but further casting Teleport bring up the dialogue menu, and it is also missing spawnpoints. It has all the obelisk locations, plus the Misty and Vissen but I am missing the follow spawn points:
* Due to the age of my character, I have this as a spawn option from when the Temple of Lochwar was an open spawn point in the early days of Das2.
- Buck Inn, Cear
- Gentleman Bastard, Morell
- Temple of Lochwar*
- Two Bridges Inn
- Ravenscrest, Ravenswatch
- Temple of Ineania, Ravenswatch
- Burning Troll, Lendose
- Knightshome, Lendose
* Due to the age of my character, I have this as a spawn option from when the Temple of Lochwar was an open spawn point in the early days of Das2.

Re: The Spawnpoint GUI
Addendum: I went to the burning Troll and Gentleman Bastard and repaid for the room which normally unlocks the spawn points. Upon casting Greater Teleport they did not appear on the teleport location list as they normally would.

Same issue if before the update you had a normal dialogue window instead of the GUI.Sahji wrote:- Logged in. Player spawnpoint GUI did not automatically appear

Re: The Spawnpoint GUI
Likewise, if you choose to reserve a room in the Buck Inn, your Spawnpoint GUI does not update, at least not immediately. I can't know for sure if it will appear on next reset and the like. Anyways, proof http://grabilla.com/04110-61030da5-ec91 ... 6324db.pngPeregrinus wrote:Addendum: I went to the burning Troll and Gentleman Bastard and repaid for the room which normally unlocks the spawn points. Additional info: A re-login does not make the Spawnpoint GUI update with the new spawnpoint.

Re: The Spawnpoint GUI
Unable to add spawn points: Next reset should correct the issue with adding spawn points.
Old spawn points missing: Under investigation

Re: The Spawnpoint GUI
Spawnpoints are added fine now and also work into the Greater Teleport just fine.
What about spawnpoints that are no longer generally availible but some of us had? In particular, can I get back the Temple of Lochwar spawn I used to have?

Re: The Spawnpoint GUI
In my case, spawnpoints are correctly added, but I cannot jump to them. I could in the previous reset, though, for some reason.

Re: The Spawnpoint GUI
We can certainly examine this - I assume the character in question still meets the criteria for having the spawn point added?Peregrinus wrote:Spawnpoints are added fine now and also work into the Greater Teleport just fine.

Re: The Spawnpoint GUI
The spawn point system will only allow you to actively jump a character once per server reset. If you've left the area you default spawn in (for example you transition to the 2nd floor of the Misty) the spawn point Jump button is disabled whether you have used your free jump or not.Arkalezth wrote:In my case, spawnpoints are correctly added, but I cannot jump to them. If the option to jump is not available to you after the next server reset please report it.

I still meet the requirements for the spawn when I got the spawn...DM Sanguinity wrote:We can certainly examine this - I assume the character in question still meets the criteria for having the spawn point added?Peregrinus wrote:Spawnpoints are added fine now and also work into the Greater Teleport just fine.

The Temple of Lochwar used to be an open spawnpoint due to Thrall's Gate being the edge of the zones. This was back before Dasaria implemented a custom deities 2da and special spawns for the various temples (at the time there were only two temples in game... Farallis and Lochwar). Technically, Phelan doesn't qualify for it now as he's an Ineania, but it was nice having that legacy spawnpoint due to the character's age...

Re: The Spawnpoint GUI
I'll try again after next reset, but that's what I mean. Fresh reset, no area change, no jump (I also had to open the window manually, BTW). It worked one day, and stopped doing so after a reset.DM Sanguinity wrote: The spawn point system will only allow you to actively jump a character once per server reset. Re: The Spawnpoint GUI
Confirmed. New reset, and everything stays the same. I have to open the spawn window manually, and I cannot jump.
Am I the only one with this issue at the moment?

Re: The Spawnpoint GUI
I could spawn at any of the locations I unlocked this reset.. But I also had to open it manually.
