Being a big fan of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War I was really hanging out for Company of Heroes to be good, sounds like it exceeded my expectations. I was in the beta, but the game ran at about 10 frames per second on my machine, which gave me a headache after about 10 minutes. I want the game, I just want a machine that can run it first.
Apart from DoW, the only other multiplayer game I'm playing at the moment is
DEFCON, the global thermonuclear warfare simulator. I love this game, and the art style is very original (it's all vectors! hoorah!!) and the gameplay is so simple yet so strategic. This is also the first game that I have purchased online after playing the demo, and I'm usually very hesitant to buy anything online.
Myself, lanky and majawi also purchased a copy of Imperium Galactica II of eBay, that should be alotta fun when it gets here.
As for the single player front, I just finished another run through of Deus Ex (I've seriously lost count as to how many times I've played this, although I think I've seen everything so this could be one of the last). I'm also playing through Beyond Good & Evil again (this is a GEM in every sense of the word) and have decided to finally try and best Thief Gold without crapping my pants at the sight of every zombie. So far so good.
