Won't be back for awhile

This isn't by my choice but rather by the choice of my video card which has decided it no longer wishes to work after four some years. Right now I am using the integrated video which is even older than the card.

I need to consider replacing the card which would be about $150 to $200 or find a new motherboard which will support my current processor and memory and allow me to escape from AGP and move on to more current technology.

However considering the time of the year and the fact that the baby is due in just a few months from now money (and time) is pretty tight.

I will still be on the forums of course and I might pop onto IRC more often than I have been so its not a total goodbye.

Its the Holiday bills that are preventing that. That and we recently had to replace our hotwater heater and then the dishwasher in the same month. Once all that is paid off then I will see what is left and might even dive into the coin jar to see if I can afford another one.

I think I have a 256 mb card that should work fine just might want to turn off water and shadows. It was an interim card I used while waiting for my SLI cards. I will dig around for it and the drivers and pm you if I find it.

Wow, thanks! I won't complain about a 256mb card. The one that died on me only had 128mb.
