From ancient grudge break to new mutiny

[Nex Ut Fidelis]

There hangs a note upon a tree in Thrall's Gate, North Cear, the Village of Tristan, and Two Bridges. It is written in a dark red ink.

What's in a name? That which we call vengeance by any other name would smell just as sweet.

Once begotten of a curse
That still we face today:
This ancient foe is made a friend
When friends are sent away.

But apples fall not far from trees,
And never do they rise.
Argent and Blue are our sky's hue
And apples are but lies.

The note is unsigned and bears no symbol of recognition.
