Hi all.
I haven't been around in a LONG time but was thinking of coming back to Das2 to check things out. Looking forward to seeing old friends and checking out all of Wired's new handiwork. But the last few times I log onto the server it goes down and stays down. I was just trying it today and it crashed but didn't come back within the 25 minutes I was checking.
Are there some issues with server stability of late? Also, if any of you admins see this topic are you able to restart the server?
Hope to be IG soon and milling about.

Welcome back -- The server's fine, a lot of times it runs for days on end.
It appears there's some sort of Internet issue at the moment though.

Heh, well I don't know about 'running things,' there's quite a few of us behind the curtain here, yes but we're still doing it Dasaria-style here and there's quite a bit of new content since you were around last.

bobzim must be adressing a situation where the server says "wb Bobzim" then poof the server resets..

maybe because too many old players came back entering das, then the sever is having problem rebalancing? hehe..

hey, i have the basic nwn2 version and havn't found any other server than dasaria 2 to connect to.

I am sure this has a lot to do with why the sever is down.

It has been a crazy couple of weeks in the Midwest. Didn't know the server lived in Chicago. Guess I'll check back on it tomorrow.

Chicago isn't the only place being beat on by Mother Nature, 5.5 Mag earthquake near Ottawa, and a tornado tore up part of Midland. Who ticked of Mother Nature this time...?
