Re: Looking for Euro Players - Weekly Group
I quite like the idea of "normal" people, farmers and the likes who get pressed into the life of adventurers against their own will. This would also leave maximum freedom for character creation. Want to be for/against the empire? A goody-good fella or a mean evil spirited bastard? Worship Lochwar ...

Re: Looking for Euro Players - Weekly Group
I just read through the old "partytime partytime thread" and so many memories of these great RP-sessions came back that I just HAD to bump this thread. Come on folks join in on the fun, we need to get this started! :D
Edit: A few random ideas for a theme

Re: Looking for Euro Players - Weekly Group
Any day in the week as long as it's not wednesday. Weekends might be a bit harder for me to show up regularly.

Re: Looking for Euro Players - Weekly Group
I am in favour of completely fresh and new characters, preferably with a theme. Even if the theme is something stupid and absurd like undead-loving halflings ... wait ...

Re: Looking for Euro Players - Weekly Group
I would be up for a weekly euro-timed group. As for the theme, we could us this thread for some brainstorming. Here comes my first idea:
Some young, idealistic and pro-varanite men and women, coming from old Varana to the troubled province of Cear to help out their beloved emperor. We could all be ...

If it is only the name, "Masterthief" might be a fitting replacement.

... I couldn't figure out if Shadow Thief of Amn (under another name of course) is in or not. A large cookie to the one who can answers my question.

Re: Full rogue?
Don't take feint before level 8 (that's when you get your second attack). If you get it before level 8 and use it it will do ... yup, nothing at all (Tested and tried by me, arrgh). Once you got your second attack it's a great feat though, especially if you have other rogues in your party, as ...

Re: Roleplay and You
What Atharin said (ans chimp quoted) is just it: Why log in and look for someone willing to RP, when you can just log into a random RP-server where RP is taken for granted?

Re: Roleplay and You
The scrying/player finder tool would be a strict OOC-tool. No mage or scrying needed, your PC has no clue, but it offers you as a player the possibility to "accidently" run into other PCs. Abusable? Sure. A great tool nevertheless? Definitely!

Re: Roleplay and You
I am one of those that have recently been discouraged from logging into Das. I went over to another server instead (which I won't name here). A lot of things are handled different there, and I'm sure some of those things would help increasing the quantity-level on Das (note: Not the quality-level ...

Re: Question on Cuhannan Pantheon..
Thought I'd add my 2 cents as well (which are not worth lots as I'm hardly in game anymore). I somehow fail to see the whole point of this discussion. If you want to play chaotic-good, go ahead. There is no rule stating that you need to have the exact alignement of your deity (not even for clerics ...
