I'm a tiefling. Bite me. I don't abide by rules, guidelines, or suggestions unless it fits me, or somebody I'd better listen to tells me so. Which this particular case fails in both respects.
And that woman *points at Vahene* keeps bugging in my conversations all the time and offends me. So totally not polite, and all.
Yeah, I get it. Just because she's a human means I should just nod, smile, and go clean up her room and stuff, yeah? Well, find yourself another tiefling to do it.
It's called establishing personality.
If Vahene, or any other player, gives me to know that they were offended by something I said, I will apologize and explain (and probably do the same thing again later
). I'm not trying to be difficult (um, maybe a bit...), but replying with my character's personality is something I enjoy - it also helps me to consider how Chia would behave in various situations.
I guess I'll refrain from poking fun at Vahene's character outside stricly in-character forums. My apologies, that probably was a mistake.
On the other hand, unless this does become a serious issue, do not expect me to change my ways.

Incidentally, the original post was meant to be, from a tiefling's living in Varana perspective, positive. It was an attempt at complimenting the work put into by the DM and builder team, as well as the excellent atmosphere created by the players themselves. Perhaps this whole branch of its flow should be moved to a different thread, since, as usual, a positive thread did not remain so for long

I'm not sure what about this post brought out all these Tiefling insecurities...
At any rate, welcome aboard! To think this PW is still in beta is remarkable.
I hear rumors of player organizations, some of them religious in nature. But I try to stay away from those kinds of trouble.
