I just want to chime in and say that I LOVE the new content. I haven't done everything yet (and haven't figured out how to get into Korgov castle--someone PM me with a hint!), but I really love the atmosphere and artwork. It's very creepy, I love that the areas are outdoor for a change, I like the idea that it's a little outside the reach of the Varanites (for now), everything, really. Also, at level 15 I've found that the XP reward is quite good, though there aren't really any items or much gold to be had. That's fine with me, though.
I don't understand people who demand "dungeons." Why does every quest have to involve going into a "dungeon" and looting the hell out of it? I think these new areas really bring a lot of character to the server, which to me is much more important than another Tower, Monastery, etc.

Characters: Soltis, Garrett, and William of Aucklorn.
Forgive, Oh Lord, my little jokes on thee
And I'll forgive thy great big one on me.

As far as I understand, the new areas are geared 8-15, with 8 being a suicide alone. The Explorer wrote:Do be do
With the new login place in the Mill, and the ongoing "event" happening there, I fear there will be little choice for lower level character interaction.
Oh, well. I'll just have to try to sneak in there. All I've seen lately is woodies, horcs, and other people I don't care for, really
I'm just jealous of the whole event thing *Sulk*
I am not contrary!
Where is this at? I seem to have no access to such a place, and I frequent Auklorn Mill and associated environs.Chia wrote:With the new login place in the MillThe Explorer wrote:Do be do
I spawn back at the Mistyvale everytime there is a server reset or I try to lvl my char.

Feedback:
Aucklorn Mill's waste output has increased by 200,000,000% since adventurers have started making their way there. Perhaps a few rubbish bins in town could help?
The flying rodents are, in my opinion, still a little too strong. I'd recommend decreasing their HP, since that first spell they get off makes them tougher anyway.
Regarding the day/night issues: I've seen a spawn of day creatures spawn immediately after a set of the night ones in a time nowhere near dawn/dusk. I'm not sure if this helps you with that issue, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
Lastly, Falcon, if I have items I want to submit for inclusion to Nadia's store, should I send them to the regular PSC addy or to you?
Edit: Aucklorn could also use a crafting bench or two. Perhaps an Alchemist's workbench...? I don't really see the need for a smithing workbench, since the town doesn't even have a smithy.

When you talk to Talon Captain Doreahn and you're outside the level range of his quest, you're given one option of dialogue: To ask a question.
I suggest adding a second option of 'Goodbye' that just ends the conversation instead of going through all the information he has to give you.
I know, it's a small thing.

Hate to be a broken record, but seriously the spot/listen on those bats is still too high; maybe knock it down just a couple of points each?

You determine your level of involvement.

No, it is not. I have checked this again, to be sure, and the spot/listen skill on the bats are at an appropriate level.blackheart wrote:Hate to be a broken record, but seriously the spot/listen on those bats is still too high; maybe knock it down just a couple of points each?
As a side-note, they are actually the lowest on any of the creatures in the new content.
