Titan Quest is a true Hack & Slash game in the Diablo-tradition. So if you liked the Diablo-games, you'll surely love this one. The details are amazing, you can see a monster approaching wearing a special item, which when he dies will drop.

I can't figure out how to take screenshots with this game unfortunately, but maybe my lovely wife has some on her laptop. :)
TQ is a massive underachiever. If you have played diablo 2 then you will have no trouble finishing this game. The mouse controls, the fixed view, the shrines, unlocking difficulty setting, weapon switching, ability to upgrade weapons, actually I'm struggling to think of anything that is different to diablo beside the classes. Unlike diablo it doesn't have any of the super cool video sequences between acts. With all that said, if you find it on special or can borrow it from a friend, it's still worth a go.

Phantasy Star Universe comes out tomorrow, I think i'm going to pick it up. I was ubsest with Phantasy Star Online for almost half a year way back when on the Dreamcast, and I still to this day pick it up here and then. It has a multiplayer gaming experience, still to this day, not matched.

I'll let you guys know how it is.

I think many of the fine patrons of this server would disagree with you on this point.
I'm always right. I'm also a jerk. It's not my fault you can't get over the latter to see the former.

Hurray for Me!

Alright, let me rephrase that, 'gameplay' experience. :P Because let's face it, NWN as a game blew! I could barely play it for 20 minutes by itself, but bring on Dasaria and it's 'immersive nature' and that's what kept me playing here.

I was in the beta for Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst, and whilst I loved the art style and atmosphere and characters and pretty much everything else, the fact that it was so grindy and hack n slashy (whilst not being very deep) got to me in the end.

Oh, we interrupt this post to bring you this important message:

I have Dark Crusade.

That is all.

A good start!

Simply unprecidented graphics from an RTS.

That is really impressive, I like the effect all those flying bodies are doin'. That'd be nifty for the fireball spell in NWN2.

Relic are my new favourite RTS company, they have done wonders with the genre. I'm still on the old Dawn of War though, not really in a WWII mood at the moment and I'd rather wait for a new graphics card before I pick up Company of Heroes. But I definatly will be. :D

They've announced Dawn of War 2, hopefully it will be on this engine, and they will be adding Tyranids finally!

Hey lanky, there was a group doing a mod for DOW to play Tyranids. The screenshots looked good, but never got around to downloading the mod. I can remember the site though, I'll see if I can dig it up again, once I get back to civilization.

Well, call me old fashion but I've found myself playing older console rpg titles as of recent. Right now I'm currently playing through Final Fantasy I again, using a Fighter/Knight, Thief/Ninja, White Mage/White Wizard, Red Mage/Red Wizard party. I was going for a well rounded party. I must admit, after all these years It still holds that magic it did when I first played it.

I'm getting into the mood, Dasarian style.

Fighter: Klofta (Props to Roser, whom has been playing this game with me actually)

Thief: Elias

White Mage: Eriq

Red Mage: Avlis

Hehe, I just beat Final Fantasy 8 for the first time around a couple weekends ago. That makes two that I've beaten so far! (7 and 8).

Picked up PSU the other day and man I'm hooked. :D I haven't experienced online play yet, I've only playing the story mode so far and man it blows the previous ones out of the water. It's an actual story now instead of just an offline version of the game. It's kind of weird/cool how they presented it, it's all in chapters played through as you would a TV episode. "Last time on Phantasy star..".

They revamped the controlling which takes a little while to get used, they changed their targetting system to a Zelda type approach. And they also implemented a first person view which is perfect for shooters aswell.

I'm picking up my reserved copy of FFXII today. I was going to try to play it, but I've decided to save it as a Christmas gift for my sister. I've got enough to do with Das2 coming around.

I've beaten all of the FF except VIII, hehe. I really just didn't like 8, nor enjoy it much at all. I played FF Online for several Months but came to see that it was strictly about abiding by a unwritten law that you had to be certain classes to even envoke a party invite later on in the game (lvl 40-up). As fun as it was for a while it never held the epic gameplay I enjoy here in Dasaria.

XII comes out today, I'll hold off though, for a a week or so. I still have Bully to get, hehe.
