others percieve it as the adventure. the LOTR books ...

here's the idea. some seem to think that going out and killing for exp is not rp. actually, what are you doing when you are in a PnP game and the dm hits you with some goblins so you can gain a few levels? even in PnP games you can "farm" an area. the diff is the fact that a dm may get tired of you ...

the "kill stealing" part i am refering to is not the helpful people that i have encountered (thank you all who have saved my bacon enough times), nor is it those that make the mistakes, nor even those that rp the whole situation.
it is those that do it simply to do it. and when you rp a "thanks but ...

i wouldnt mind it so much if it did seem like an accident, but in a lot of the cases it was so intentful it was hard to miss. even had one person stand there for a bit, then attack.
ic'ly it would seem that i was griefing the griefer as i would end up in some conversation that usually ends up with ...

Kill stealing-is it griefing or not?
I am curious as to your stand on what is normally considered one of the worst kind of griefing on many servers-kill stealing.
For the novice, this is where you are fighting an NPC and then another player jumps into the fight and kills your adversary. now, if they get the killing stroke, they get ...

crossbows are a bit different than composite bows or longbows. it really does not take much strength to use a crossbow as the heavier ones used a "crank", which is why they do not have the same fire rating as bows.
a crossbow has fewer shots than a bow, and there is a feat to boost this rating, but ...

hmm, after reading this i do have one thing to say:
yes, true sight does not see mundane kind of hiding.
but HIPS is not mundane kind of hiding. i think you put it quite nicely when you said "bends the shadows around them". there is nothing mundane about bending shadows. not only that but you must ...
